Anticlimactic Extinction

The iron asteroid hurtles past
Space dust dark energy
Wind whistling sand storm
Tidal wave anti cyclones
Harmless sun showers prevent
A near miss tail spin
Where nothing can be
Superficial regolith & meteors
Disintergrate rock & pock marks
Lightning scars part urban clouds like Moses
Acid rain peels back
Layers and molecules turn to dust.

I snap my fingers
Create a sound wave soul stratosphere Twist watching left
Plumes of fire works park
Altered realities into multiple dimensions &
Wag their jagged fingers beaming us up
Like Scotty in the blink on an eye
Flashes to snuff-out-the-light
Once and for all eternity astral
Travelling a barrel ride to infinity &
Beyond my dying plane most
Inter-planetary extraordinary life.

Don’t talk to me
About life Lester harping on a song
About red dwarfs & the intergalactic space
Stations resounding radio
Frequencies alien probe
My space time continuum white noise
Sends shock waves to run rings
Around any metallic meteors
Jet propelled into my slip stream
The birth of a worm or
Black hole inertia sucking it all in
Only to return again squeezed

Out & re-moulded by my doppleganger.

Land & a star is born
Supernova core compressed
Dark matter gas & fission
Fuse together parts whole
Where nothing can be undone
& everything that ever was is
Chasing after her tail feather
Asteroid on full speed ahead
A magnetic collision course
Forcing fields & gamma rays to
Deflect decay once again
Shit storms still rain down

Charged particles & isotopes ping.
